Therapeutic Massage can only be applied by a Registered Massage Therapist with 3,000 hours of training. Our massage treatments are designed not only to relax our patients, but to determine and correct any physical dysfunction, as well as treating their symptoms. Massage during pregnancy has many benefits:

  - Decreased stretch marks

Therapeutic touch is vital to a motherís physical and emotional well being as she tries to cope with all of the changes and challenges her body is presenting during pregnancy; it also benefits the new life that grows within her.

Do not seek prenatal massage if you have any of the following:
  1. Heavy discharge (watery or bloody)
  2. Diabetes
  3. Contagious Illness, fever, or vomiting
  4. Pre-eclampsia or High blood pressure
  5. Abdominal Pain

Sport massage consists of pre-event, post-event, and restoration/training massage that is used†to help prevent†injuries,† to prepare the body for athletic activity,†maintain optimal condition and to help athletes†recover from workouts and injuries. I am in the progress of attaining the International Sport Massage Diploma through the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association (http://www.csmta.ca). †
PREVENTS muscle and tendon injuries.
REDUCES the strain and discomfort of training and chronic strain patterns. allowing a quicker return to maximum training levels.
ENABLES the athlete to recover more quickly from myofascial injury with less chance of chronic problems returning.
PROVIDES psychological boosts to the athlete, consistent with his or her commitment to high performance.
ENHANCES a preventive approach to athletic training whereby soft tissues are free of trigger points and adhesions, thus contributing toward the improvement of peak neuromuscular functioning.
PRE-EVENT massage stimulates circulation, calms nervous tension, and prepares the athlete for optimal performance while reducing the chances of injury.
POST-EVENT massage helps in recovery from hard training and competition.
TRAINING massage to focus on the prevention of developing chronic injuries and aids in the healing process of current ones.
